Testimonials

“EVERY TIME I COME TO VISIT SHE IS HAPPY,”

Mission Villa has been my mother's home for approximately half a year. Every time I come to visit she is happy; visits are always welcome. The staff is warm and friendly, an extension of Dana.Searching for a home for my mother was a daunting task. After looking at many local facilities that provided care for those with dementia I arrived at Mission Villa. While visiting, I met the loved ones of three of different residents; they all shared similar sentiments. They chose Mission Villa because of the level of care..

Mission Villa is an answer to prayer!

— N.M.

“Mission Villa is a residence with a dedicated staff that treats you like family.”

My father lived for four very content years at Mission Villa. His hospice nurse had told me he wouldn't survive another week unless I moved him to a different facility, one with the expertise and compassion to deal with his needs. He suggested Mission Villa as the best in town and on a rainy afternoon, we moved him into his snug new home. Within three weeks my dad was off of hospice and gaining strength. Mission Villa is a residence with a dedicated staff that treats you like family and works with you to bring happiness and care to your family member.

— B.C.

“I CAN TRUST THAT MOM IS BEING CARED FOR.”

Mission Villa is feels like an extension of our home.  Lisa and her staff fully understand the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s/Dementia and they know how to appropriately my mom.  They gave my mom amazing care, with compassion and dignity. I can trust that mom is being cared for and is safe when I am not able to be with her. I cannot think of a better residential care facility for my loved one to reside.  It truly is a family partnership for which I am so thankful.

Amenities

Activities

Due to our unique size and design, we are able to truly operate as a family. Just like any family, we have a schedule to guide our day but we are fluid. Our proprietary Associative Activities Program allows the mood and interests of our residents to guide our choices for activity.

Well Being

The well being of our residents is dependent on their experiences throughout the day. Our care therapy is based in hugs, bright conversations, music to sing along with as well as healthy, and nutritious, whole food meals. We believe that hugs and chocolate chip cookies have more therapeutic value than a pill. Farm-to-table meals, singalongs, thoughtful lighting, warm and empathetic staff and days filled with family and friends culminate in days filled with magic.

Meals

Farm-to-table meals fills the belly with healthy food and the olfactory with warm nostalgic scent of a home-cooked meal.

HOSPICE CARE

Hospice care is available for people who are nearing the end of life’s journey. The services are provided by the team of health care professionals chosen by the family to maximize comfort for their loved one by reducing pain and addressing physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.

ENTERTAINMENT

Local musicians and entertainers provide our residents with music and enjoyment. Whether it's a one man band, a singer extraordinaire, a delightfully accordion player, a church choir, or pianist, each resident has the opportunity to immerse themselves in inspiring musical experiences.
